🥦 Monday October 14: cooking workshops for schoolchildren
Coached by Chef Patrick Belin, apprentice cooks will create sweet and savory recipes featuring produce from our partner “Les Maraîchers de Montain”. Healthy, well-balanced recipes to introduce them to seasonality and demonstrate the benefits of short supply chains.

🍪 Wednesday, October 16, 3pm to 5pm: “Vegetables for snacks”
Chef Agnès Gaumet, with her demonstration and tips, invites you to taste pastries made with vegetables!

🍵 Thursday, October 17 and Friday, October 18, at 2pm : Tea time “Vegetables for a snack” for seniors
Welcome residents to our kitchen, presentation of our partner “Les maraîchers de Montains” and their vegetable production, tasting of pastries made with vegetables, demonstration and advice from our pastry chef, time for sharing memories of the vegetable garden.

🧑‍🍳 Saturday, October 19, 10am to 12pm: LSF cooking workshop
Accessible to deaf and hard-of-hearing people and their families, this cooking workshop is an inclusive initiative designed to offer an enriching culinary experience for all. Thanks to the presence of a French sign language (LSF) interpreter, this workshop enables fluid communication and active participation by deaf or hard-of-hearing participants.

🌱 Saturday, October 19, 2-6pm: “Vegetables for a snack” animation for all
We invite you to join us in the kitchen to meet our partner “Les Maraîchers de Montain”. Armelle will tell us about her job, and present her production of seasonal vegetables. What are the different types of vegetables? What do plants need to grow? What are the sowing and harvesting times? These are just some of the questions we’ll be answering through fun and educational activities. Did you know that vegetables can also be used in baking? Our Chef will delight your taste buds with a tasting of pastries as delicious as they are surprising! Can you recognize the vegetables used? Tips and demonstrations from our Chef!
