the small workshops

Let your creativity speak for itself! A space is dedicated to visitors to make different objects from Bel Group product packaging. A very convivial moment where young and old let their imagination run wild.

A few steps away, three game tables allow visitors to The Laughing Cow House to discover the subjects of food and nutrition while having fun.

GARDEN and ESPLANADE

To continue the visit, you can discover the outside of the house with an educational garden and games for children on the esplanade.

TASTING

Visits, it digs! A tasting awaits you at the end of your visit at the store counter, to eat on the spot or to take away for a snack.

SHOP

Ideal place to bring back a small souvenir of your visit!

100 LAUGHS: the LAUGHING HOG FABRIC

TEMPORARY EXHIBITION

In this part of the museum, you will discover a real laughing factory! More than portions of cheese, these are smiles, secrets, stories, anecdotes, that are contained in the billions of boxes already produced in the Jura.

PRE-HISTORY of the LAUGHING COW

TEMPORARY EXHIBITION

Would it be in reality more than a hundred years old…? A strange archaeological exhibition has taken place at The Laughing Cow House to try to answer this question. The installation explores a “Pre-history” of the famous red cow, mixing humor and different styles of representation referring to ancient civilizations.

MANUFACTURING MODEL

To discover the secrets of The Laughing Cow production, go to the production area: a film and a model show the production process of The Laughing Cow from the preparation of the ingredients to the shipping of the portions.

In the same place, several films highlight the different professions of the company’s employees, and a wall of packaging completes this area, which embodies a real know-how.

AUGMENTED REALITY

Become the actors of a virtual experience as offbeat as it is zany. This immersive installation allows everyone to transform themselves into avatars in the image of the brand. What a surprise to suddenly see yourself dressed in portions, playing with the first box of Laughing Cow and making portions move with your body movements.

CSR WALL

The Bel Group is committed to having a positive impact on all those around it, from farmers to consumers, while preserving the planet. An interactive wall allows you to discover all the Corporate Social Responsibility approaches.

COMICS: 6 portions of life

Through this installation, you can feel the presence of The Laughing Cow through the ages, beyond the key dates found in the museum’s cellars. We have chosen to tell this story in the form of 6 thematic anecdotes, illustrating 6 key periods in the history of the brand. It is more than a hundred boxes illustrated on wooden plates which reveal to the visitors a splendid coloured picture.

HISTORY of the Laughing Cow

Enter the historical cellars where the adventure of The Laughing Cow began. Two cellars present the history of the brand since its creation, from Jules Bel’s first maturing workshop, to the development of several industrial plants, including some outstanding advertising campaigns.

In these cellars, no less than 6 islands reveal archival objects, period films, and documents from the collections to accompany the historical speeches.
