In 2021, to commemorate its anniversary in the Jura, the Bel group had decided to create a sporting event. What a symbol to propose a large popular gathering at the very place of the first cheese factory, where the story began, in Lons-le-Saunier in the Jura, to show the destiny of this cheese in portions. After its success in 2021, the cycling event, open to all, should come back in 2022, then in 2023!
ANIMATIONS :
For this weekend event, La Maison de La Vache qui rit is implementing a program under the sign of the bicycle. This year you are invited to participate in The Laughing Cow Rally:
Each participant will be given a Laughing Cow permit to validate at the stands set up in front of the museum. These workshops are based on 3 themes: sports, health and safety.
In a playful way, you will be able to: discover valuable advice on how to improve your diet for physical effort, improve your sense of balance, test your knowledge of the equipment and rules to follow when cycling.
During this exceptional weekend, the House of The Laughing Cow opens its doors for free!

A CYCLOSPORTIVE, POPULAR AND FAMILY EVENT:
Cycling, a popular and family sport par excellence, corresponds perfectly to the brand’s values. As early as 1933, it was associated with the biggest sporting event: the Tour de France. It was one of the first brands to participate in the Tour de France caravan. To accompany this event, Laurent JALABERT will be for the 3rd time the sponsor of this cyclosportive.
THE TEST:
A cyclosportive is an event accessible to everyone from 16 years old with a medical certificate. With 3,000 participants expected at the start of the event, the Cyclosportive La Vache qui rit® will bring together a public from far beyond the borders of the department. The cyclosportive is a timed endurance event open to cyclists of all levels. Some will be aiming for the podium; others will be looking to simply finish within the time limit.
THE COURSE :
GRAVEL : 62 or 111 km.
ROAD: 4, 30, 80, 121 or 159 km.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced cyclist, you can choose between two types of surfaces and different distances to guarantee you an unforgettable day starting from Lons-le-Saunier (Jura).
